• I declare that linseed oil sold by VITAL ÂTMAN has been recommended to assist in the medical treatment of some nephrological diseases and for kidney transplantation patients, as it contains high concentrations of omega-3 fatty acids. (This is according to analysis of the Center of Food Chemistry of the Instituto de Tecnologia de Alimentos Company, São Paulo, Brazil). This product is being evaluated in a prospective study of kidney transplant patients suffering from chronic graft dysfunction, after receiving authorization from the Medical Research Ethics Committee of the Urology and Nephrology Institute, São José do Rio Preto. As it is a vegetable product with high levels of omega-3 and based on previously published scientific studies, I believe that it could be of great therapeutic use in medicine.
